According to Rightmove, the number of buyer enquiries during the Christmas period is usually high. In fact, Rightmove claims that its visits over the Christmas period were its busiest ever with what it calls ‘buyer demand’ up 23% compared to the same time a year earlier. The number of new sellers coming to market was also up by 21% on Boxing Day, compared to December 26, 2020. This was the highest number of new sellers on Boxing Day Rightmove has ever recorded.
With an upward trend of buyer enquiries - why would you wait - when keen house hunters are looking to buy over the festive period?
